New Houses Get Smaller as First-Time Buyers Move Into the Market (WSJ)

According to new Census data, Median size of new single family home was smaller in 2016 -- first decrease in size since the recession.  But demand is growing and prices are rising.  And air-conditioning now more of a requirement than an option.
