Marc H. Supcoff, Esq.

As a litigation associate at a large Wall Street law firm, Marc worked with and was mentored by a senior trial attorney who inspired Marc’s own passion for litigation and teaching.  Marc   honed his legal and case management skills at at two other laws firms in Manhattan before establishing The Law Offices of Marc H. Supcoff in 2003.  The Firm’s values reflect best practices and lessons that Marc learned starting as a young associatet.   Marc’s  knowledge, experience and passion for the law is what drives the Firm in each attorney-client relationship and representation.

Construction Law Practice

Mr. Supcoff represents owners, contractors and design professionals, preparing and negotiating all types of construction-related agreements, including AIA agreements, customized agreements, and contracts drafted by a counter-party.

Marc prosecutes and defends mechanic’s lien claims, payment claims, construction and design defect claims in litigation, and mediates and arbitrates client disputes.  

Mr. Supcoff also negotiates real property access agreements between owners requiring access to an adjacent property to complete construction improvements (licensees) and owners for whom property access is sought (licensors).   Mr. Supcoff has also successfully represented owners in RPAPL Section 881 litigation in New York State Supreme Court seeking access to protect an adjacent property owner’s building during construction.

Commercial Law Practice

The Law Firm’s diverse commercial law practice includes representation of individuals and small to medium size companies prosecuting or defending breach of contract, fraud, and wage and employment discrimination claims. Mr. Supcoff has extensive experience representing clients in high-stakes commercial arbitration before the American Arbitration Association and JAMS. The Firm also appears regularly in New York State Supreme Court and the Superior Court of New Jersey on significant construction and commercial litigation disputes.

Real Estate Transaction Practice

The Law Firm represents buyers and sellers of co-op and condominium apartments in NYC and properties in northern New Jersey.  We also represent individuals and companies in negotiating commercial leases, including build-out of Tenant space for particular usage.  

Marc Supcoff is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and a member of the American Bar Association.  

Marc Supcoff is passionate about legal writing and advocacy and Duke Basketball.  An Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law since 2018, Mr. Supcoff teaches a semester long seminar on Legal Writing & Research to internationally-trained lawyers pursuing their LLM degree in New York.  In his free time, Marc enjoys watching college hoops, spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors.

Wiktoria Knapik

Ms. Knapik has been a Paralegal with the Firm since December 2022. She works in the Law Firm’s Manhattan office, assisting Mr. Supcoff with real estate closings and all commercial and construction law matters. Ms. Knapik graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY) in May, 2022 with a Bachelor Arts in Law and Society.
