Marc H. Supcoff, Esq.
Marc Supcoff is founder and principal attorney of The Law Offices of Marc H. Supcoff, which specializes in construction law, commercial law, and real estate transactions.
Mr. Supcoff represents construction contractors, owners and managing agents, and design professionals in reviewing and negotiating construction contracts and resolving legal disputes, including mechanic’s lien claims, payment claims and construction and design defect claims. He negotiates property access agreements for owners including condominiums and co-ops. Mr. Supcoff has also successfully represented owners involved in RPAPL 881 litigation in The New York State Supreme Court seeking access to protect an adjacent property owner’s building during the course of construction.
Mr. Supcoff is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He appears regularly in courts throughout New York City and Northern New Jersey for pretrial, motion and trial practice. Mr. Supcoff also has extensive experience advocating for clients in mediation and/or arbitration of their legal disputes.
Mr. Supcoff started his legal career as a litigation associate at a large Wall Street law firm. Before opening his own firm in 2003, he worked as a commercial litigator both at a midsize general practice and at a small firm specializing in design and construction law. For more than two decades, Mr. Supcoff has been counseling and advocating for clients in significant commercial, construction law and real estate matters. He brings this knowledge base and extensive experience to each new client matter.
In addition, Mr. Supcoff is an adjunct professor at Fordham University Law School. In the Fall semester, he teaches “Legal Research and Writing” to a seminar group of international LLM students. Marc also serves on the Board of his Manhattan condominium. In his free time, Mr. Supcoff enjoys watching college hoops, spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors.
