Intelligent Representation

Construction and real estate law is our specialty. Our clients are our focus.

Founded in 2003, The Law Offices of Marc H. Supcoff represents individuals and businesses in resolving construction and commercial disputes, negotiating construction and commercial contracts and new corporate entity formation.

Our clients include owners, project managers, construction contractors, specialty subcontractors, design professionals, and surety/insurance companies.

Our real estate and commercial leasing practice includes representation of buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate — from contract of sale through closing, and negotiation of commercial lease transactions including landlord and tenant construction work.

In every matter we handle, our goal is to provide each client with cost-effective and practical legal counsel.  We listen to each client and develop an individualized action plan focussed on achieving client objectives.  Most of our work is repeat business and referrals.  We are proud of our long-term client relationships.  Mr. Supcoff has represented several construction clients located in the US and Canada for decades.

Marc Howard Supcoff, Esq. graduated from The University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., 1992) and Duke University (B.A. cum laude Public Policy Studies 1988).  Mr. Supcoff began his legal career as a commercial litigator at the Wall Street law firm Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexender & Ferdon.  He also practiced law at a mid-size commercial and a boutique construction law firm in Manhattan before starting his own law firm in 2003.  Mr. Supcoff is admitted to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of New York (S.D.N.Y. and E.D.N.Y) and New Jersey (D.N.J.).  He is also a member of The American Bar Association.

Mr. Supcoff is passionate about legal writing.  During law school, he was an Associate Editor and Editor of The University of Pennsylvania Law Review.   As a third-year law student, Marc was a Legal Writing Instructor for a small section of first-year law students.  Since 2018, Mr. Supcoff has been an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University Law School in Manhattan, where in the Fall and Spring semesters he teaches a seminar class on Legal Research and Writing to internationally-trained lawyers pursuing an LLM degree in New York City.
